51B's Slowing Down

After a rush of new 51B's this summer, I've finally started slowing down my acquisitions for this set.  I'm now at 240 of the 324 total cards for an overall completion of 74%.  I'll probably end up somewhere between 75%-80% by the end of 2021, which is completely amazing for me.  I remember when I completed the 50B set thinking that I probably wouldn't be moving on the the 51B set anytime soon.  That was less than 10 years ago.  The 51B set is very similar to the 50B set, except for that it doesn't stop at 252 cards like 50B.  I'd be only 12 cards shy of set completion if that was the case.  51B's are bigger, and include the players name on the front, so they're like a more improved version of the 50B set.  In the 50B set, the low numbers are short-printed cards, which is unlike most other Topps/Bowman vintage sets.  I'm not aware of any other vintage Topps/Bowman set with a low-number shortage.  The only other one might be the 1953 Bowman set if the B&W's came out first, but I'm not sure about that.

  2. The low numbers for 1958 Topps are short-printed a bit, I believe.

  3. You are correct, but I never felt a difference when collecting low/high numbers from the 58T set.
