1953 Bowman #45: Walt Dropo, Detroit Tigers, 1B

Walt Dropo went over to the Tigers along with F.Hatfield, D.Lenhardt, J.Pesky, and B.Wight for H.Evers, G.Kell, J.Lipon, and D.Trout to the Red Sox in the middle of the 1952 season.  Dropo served the Tigers well defensively in 1953, ranking in the league top 3 for Putouts (1260), Assists as 1B (127), and Fielding % as 1B (.990).  He played 152 games with 606 AB, 150 Hits, 30 Doubles, and 96 RBI.
