1970 Topps #654: N.L. Rookie Stars (O.Gamble/B.Day/A.Mangual)

Oscar Gamble played 17 seasons in the majors for 7 different teams between 1969-1985.  He appeared in the postseason three different times with the Yankees in '76, '80, and '81.   

Boots Day actually began his career with the Cardinals in 1969 before being traded to the Cubs for Rich Nye after the season ended.  Day spent only a month with the Cubs in 1970 before being traded to the Expos for Jack Hiatt early in the season.  Day would spend the rest of his 6 year major league career with the Expos through the 1974 season.

Angel Mangual only played for the Pirates for one season in 1969 before being traded to the Athletics for Jim Grant at the end of the 1970 season.  He would appear in the postseason consecutively for the next 4 years, winning a total of 3 World Series titles ('72, '73, '74).  Mangual played an additional 2 years with the A's through the '76 season before completing his career in the majors.
