1951 Topps #A-52: Tommy Holmes, Boston Braves, OF

Tommy Holmes played in his 10th major league season during 1951 with the same team he started with as a rookie in 1942.  His lifetime batting average remained above .300, but Holmes' career was winding down.  He played in only 27 games in '51, scoring a single run and five RBI's.  Holmes was sent back down to the minors as a player-manager for the Hartford Chiefs of the Eastern League.
